Help
Negotiating and setting up a Local Management Agreement
is the easy bit. Operating it and providing the services over the
coming months and years is the real challenge.
The
Council’s Support Officer will
stay in touch with residents running a Local Management Agreement
throughout the period of the agreement, and is always available
by phone and email to answer queries.
S/he will also arrange
an annual review meeting with the residents’ group
and any contractors, to look at performance, financial results
and customer feedback. This review is particularly important
when the agreement is coming to an end, and both parties need
to decide whether to extend it.
